On a National Level …
If you don’t know what Spanx are, ask the woman next to you. Fashion-savvy women and even image-conscious men who sport Spanx for Men undershirts are familiar with the shape wear sensation once named one of Oprah’s Favorite Things and created by former door-to-door saleswoman Sara Blakely. When she cut off the feet from a pair of pantyhose to look more shapely in a pair of white pants, she didn’t realize she was creating a multimillion dollar game-changer from scratch. We have reached the end of my 21-day journey to create new habits for myself and my business. I’d like to thank those of you who joined me on my journey and gave me feedback and advice, both of which I’m very grateful for. As I bring this series to an end, there is just one more thing that I want to add to our list of things to do for a successful business ….
~ Review, Evaluate and Make Corrections ~
Remember that your business is a fluid, living and breathing thing. I see many people write a business plan and consider it “done”. Nothing could be further from the truth. Your business plan should be reviewed monthly to see if short term goals have been achieved and to see if long term goals are still on target. If they’re not, evaluate where things are not going according to plan and make corrections to the plan in order to turn things in the right direction.
I hope you’ve had as much fun as I had. Again, let me thank those of you who followed my journey and implemented some of my strategies for your own businesses. I wish you much success. Starting today, I will post links to great information all of us can use in our daily home and business lives. I hope you’ll come back often and enjoy my selections.
That’s all for this series ….. Now to out there and be AMAZING!
